Their sound has been described as a combination of Americana rock and Indie country and their live act is known for its high energy.

Forming in western Massachusetts in 2003, Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers released their latest album on Vanguard records earlier this year.

" The Bear " is the band's rawest and most collaborative disc yet and Stephen says it is 66% autobiographical.
